Santas make me FRANTIC!

In early November we were in Hobby Lobby looking at Christmas decorations with Grandma. Paige looked down one aisle where there were some Santas that were about 3 feet tall... she said to us, "I don't want to go down there - Santa makes me frantic!" Later we were laughing about it and asked her where she learned that word - she said "In France!"

Swimming Lessons

I had my first swimming lessons this summer at the Sky View pool June 21 - July 1. And it was a lot of fun. I was able to get to feel more comfortable in the water.

We worked on being starfish & airplanes (floating on our tummies & backs). Scooping ice cream (using our arms) and kicking our legs.

And jumping in the water to the teacher. The first couple of days I didn't want to jump in. I would try, but ended up sitting down on the side not jumping in. Mama had me practice jumping off the couch to Dad one day and then the next day in swimming I had no problem jumping in. I still need to work on putting my face in the water though.

Mama & Daddy wondered if I learned a lot in lessons, but I showed them. The next day we went to the swimming party and I was a great swimmer. I was jumping off the side all by myself (with my life jacket on) and showing everyone how I could float on my back. It was a lot of fun!

My 3rd Birthday!

It was a pretty good day to turn 3 years old. I woke up happy and first thing I said was "it will only take a couple of minutes for Grandma & Papa to come here" We had be talking about them coming to have dinner and cake with me for a couple of weeks, and I was excited to have them come over.

I had my last swim lesson and Grandma & Papa ending up coming with, it was fun to show them what I had learned. After that we got to go out to lunch! to my favorite place Arby's.
Then later we had Grandma, Papa & Brian over for pizza! with topperoni's (pepperoni & sausage) my favorite. (don't worry we celebrated with the rest of the family the next day at a swim party) We opened presents, as you can tell it was a princess themed day. That is all I wanted, princess everything. So I got a Princess patio set from Grandma & Papa, Princess books, Princess figurines, Princess pencils, a Princess shirt and a Princess tent from Grandma & Grandpa Gurney.
Then we had cake & ice cream.
It was the 4th of July fireworks, so I got to stay up late and have fireworks for my Birthday! It was a pretty great day!

The Birthday Cake

Here is my birthday cake! I had told Mama and Daddy for a few weeks that I wanted a Princess cake. I saw one at the grocery store that looked pretty nice, but Mama said it was too much money. So we figured out how to make one ourselves. Mama and Daddy didn't let me see it all finished until it was time to put the candles on and sing, so I was surprised! It was just what I wanted! Of course we had Aggie Blue Mint ice cream to go with it!

I know my number...

I know my number, Mama's cell phone number that is. On June 3, 2011 we were in ShopKo buying things and they asked for Mama's phone number. Mama said it to them and then when we were getting into the car I said it all by myself. Now I recite it all the time.

P-A-I-G-E spells Paige

I wrote my name for the first time on April 4, 2011. Mama was so surprised at how good it looked and I just did it out of the blue all by myself! I write my name on Nursery papers now.

Finally a new post!

We finally did it! After waiting for a nice weather day for months, we made it to take pictures of me in my pretty dress at the temple (see post below). I did such a good job smiling & posing!
